Close-up of the threshold entrance of Le Meurice hotel, Paris

Luxury & Craftsmanship

Some of the work I'm proudest of sits at the quieter end of luxury — not a product shot against a white backdrop, but the craft and detail behind a piece, a process, or a maker's hands. I've filmed the fabrication of fine jewellery in Florence and Milan, working close enough to see the precision in the making.

What connects this work isn't a single visual style — it's sensorially-rich imagery combined with the precision of tabletop and macro work. Luxury filmmaking, done well, doesn't shout. It's patient, it trusts the subject, and it lets craftsmanship carry the film rather than a hard sell.

Recent work in this space includes a film for Sotheby's profiling jewellery designer Maria Sole Ferragamo, a trailer for Le Meurice's Paris art-history walking experiences (part of Dorchester Collection), and commercial work for Land Rover.

If you're a luxury brand, hospitality group, jewellery house, or maker looking for a director who treats craft and detail seriously, I'd be glad to talk about your project.
