DJI Ronin 4D specialist
I'm available as a DJI Ronin 4D gimbal operator on other productions — working as camera crew under an existing director or DP, rather than in a directing role.
For directing and DP work, see my Services page.
I’ve been using the Ronin 4D camera system since 2022. I’ve shot with it across three different continents, from the deserts of Doha to the waves of Tōhoku, using it as both a self-shooter and as part of a full camera crew.
I operate a Ronin 4D as my primary camera system on my own productions, which means genuine day-to-day familiarity with the rig — not occasional use. This includes:
Full working knowledge of the DJI Focus Pro ecosystem, including third-party lens compatibility
Experience running the system with cine lenses (M-mount / PL-Mount) rather than native DJI glass
Comfortable operating in the 4th-axis gimbal mode for stabilised handheld work, as well as more traditional gimbal/stabiliser setups
Efficient on set — able to move quickly between tripod, handheld and gimbal setups without slowing down a shoot day
