If you're a company based outside the UK — a US tech firm, an international brand, an agency — and need a director of photography or small crew on the ground in London, here's what working with me looks like in practice.

What I shoot I work as a director of photography and filmmaker, primarily on a DJI Ronin 4D with Thypoch Simera C M-mount cine lenses. This kit is compact enough for run-and-gun corporate and branded work but produces a cinematic result — useful when a client wants something that doesn't look like standard corporate video. Past clients include Land Rover, Sotheby's, English National Opera, Dorchester Collection, and Qatar Creates.

Do you work with overseas production teams? Yes. I regularly act as the local crew or DP for productions based abroad — coordinating with a remote director or producer, handling UK-specific logistics (locations, permits, crew), and delivering footage or full edits back to a team in another time zone. I've also handled international logistics in the other direction, including managing an ATA carnet and cross-border crew travel for an overseas shoot.

Can you handle the whole production, or just camera? Both. I can come in purely as DP working under your existing director/producer, or take on a fuller role — sourcing additional crew through my regular network, handling location logistics, and managing post-production through to delivery. I have a fully equipped garden studio/office for pre-production planning, storage, and smaller studio setups.

Can you easily travel to Europe, Middle East and U.S.A.? Yes I regularly work in Europe for clients when they want the piece of mind of working with a native English speaker, whilst not being too far from Europe for 1-2 day shoots. I also do longer trips to the Middle East, U.S.A. as well as other regions across the world.

What about insurance and legal/business logistics? I operate through a UK limited company (Art Native Studio) and hold production insurance through Lloyd's. I'm also registered with Directors UK. Happy to share policy details or provide documentation as part of a client onboarding process.

Turnaround and availability Based near Woking, Surrey — under an hour from central London. Available for single-day shoots or multi-day productions; recent work has included multi-day shoots involving international crew and equipment logistics.
