Robbie McKane is a Director and DoP based in Surrey, UK. He works in documentary film, commercials and short-form drama.

In the commercial space, he specialises in luxury and arts-focused content as well as documentary-style storytelling with real people, combining sensory-rich imagery with authenticity and agility on set.

His film work explores the relationship between artisans and their living environment, revealing connective stories between craftsmanship, ritual, and the natural world.

His first feature-length documentary work Stronger than the Wave is currently screening at festivals internationally.

His previous films include The House of Ron Hitchins (2021) and LUX, When Light Began to Breathe (2022).
