Inspired by the history of the Horniman and its collections, Stages of Making is a contemporary exhibition produced by a collective of local community members working with artist Katie Schwab. Inspired by our relationship with mass-produced objects, the exhibition celebrates craft and the hand-made process. Works include painted walls, table tops made from yoghurt pots and a giant rag-rug created from recycled t-shirts by members of the public.

The footage for this project was captured over the course of several sessions, shot and directed and edited by myself. The video works produced include a documentary of the exhibition, a moving image work featuring in the exhibition itself as well as promotional material. An album of photographs was also produced as part of the documentation.
